Waffle House Capers

I'm about to be moving into a more expensive place and have been looking for a second job.
I've had a few food service jobs, and years of customer service experience.
I've met some people who have made some ridiculous amounts of money working at Waffle House. The one I'm looking at is in a fairly nice part of town.
Do you think it's worth it?

be aware that you usually have to work a shift of eight hours at waffle house...

if you want to use it as a second job, usually the most effective thing to do is to work first shift on saturday and sunday mornings, or third shift friday and saturday nights. (this is where the money is, as a general rule.) the wait staff at your waffle house might be able to let you know what the best shifts are, but also be aware that those shifts are more difficult to get until you've "proven yourself" able to handle the high volume without losing your shit.

I would never wish employment at WH on my worst enemy.
